OVERVIEW

Patterns of Oppression examines the both visual and inherent patterns present around the world through a comparitive politics lense. By examining different case studies around the world, highlighting their similarities and differences, these patterns can be avoided. The publication examines South Africa, North Korea, and Venezuela, three countries with distinct political theory that share some common threads. It examines geographical, personal, and political examples of both visual and literal patterns of oppression.
